UK Outdoor PC Shelters

We have been asked to look at providing a number of IP65 rated stainless steel Touchsceen PCs for outdoor use. One customer is wanting to integrate biometric scanners and tally software to monitor staff movement across a major road expansion project. We have achieved this and the units are being site tested now. We are aware that the biometric scanners may not work in direct sunlight so we are designing shelters to shield the PCs not only from light but also the heat of the sun. Not only will the PCs run cooler but will have additional protection from the worst UK weather.

These shelters will be ruggedly made and will be suitable for a wide range of environments including building sites, transport hubs, warehousing and public information. Tally or information software can be built in along with biometric scanners which can identify who is on a site at any particular time.

Confidence Growing in the Food Preparation Industry

March saw a increase in business for our stainless steel IP65 rated industrial touchscreen PCs. We have been awarded work amounting to over 80 units recently. This along with a rise in the amount of panel PCs sold indicate a growing confidence in general, especially the food production environment where the implementation of new ERP software is on the up and up.

VESA PC Wall Mount Bracket

We’re delighted to announce that we can now supply a wall-mount bracket for our panel PCs. The panel PCs are really designed for mounting through an aperture in a wall or panel, but for situations where this is not possible or convenient, you can now fix the PC to the wall using our custom made bracket.

Stainless steel Pedestal Stand for IP65 PC

In the past, if you had no convenient wall or structural column on which to mount your IP65 touch-screen PC, you had a problem. Now, thanks to our new floor-standing, stainless steel pedestal you can site your cabinet PC or industrial computer enclosure right where you need it. The head unit has limited side-to-side swivel and with a 75mm/100mm VESA-standard bracket, you can even put PCs on it that aren’t from CabinetPro.

Custom Silver Kiosk PC

We’re really pleased with the silver kiosk PCs we’ve just implemented at the training centre of a blue-chip technology company. These will enable delegates to surf the web and check e-mail during breaks, all within a fully locked down environment provided by SiteKiosk, that prevents access to the operating system.

The kiosks were a custom specification to special order, powder-coated in silver – the colour on our standard specification kiosk PCs is black. With a 17-inch touch-screen and a quiet, cool running and energy efficient Intel Atom processor, these kiosks PCs provide an ideal and rugged platform for museums, training centres, shopping centres and other public spaces.

We have moved!!

We have moved the operation from Hampshire to Bristol. Logistics and staff location meant that the move could be put off no longer so we moved the admin and construction facilities to lovely Bristol. Its a great place and we have settled in well.

We now work with a new network of people, all of whom have been very friendly and supportive.

Custom Cabinet Design

CabinetPro was selected following initial discussions at which we were able to demonstrate our extensive manufacturing knowledge and expertise.
